The practical limits of registration, search and local signing.
Does Protect stop copying?
No. It registers evidence that can help compare work and check a signature. It does not prevent copying, prove legal ownership or scan the internet for you.
Can I search all supported registration formats?
No. Protect supports images, video and writing; Detect accepts images only. Audio is not available in Protect or Detect.
Does a missing match mean I can use the work?
No. A missing match does not prove that a work is unregistered or free to use. Similarity results also do not establish infringement.
Can support restore my key or original file?
Support cannot recreate a lost signing key. Keep your current recovery material and a trusted working browser, and follow the portal recovery guidance. Keep separate backups of your source work: MP does not store it.
Is the product fully released?
Ma’atara Provenance remains a public beta. Features marked in development or disabled by release controls are not promises of current availability.
