How Ma’atara secures your connection
HTTPS protects transport; local signing keeps private signing keys out of the service. Browser security still matters.
Connection and page protections
The product uses HTTPS and browser policies that restrict connections, framing and access to camera, microphone and location. These reduce exposure; they do not make a compromised browser or device safe.
Signing on your device
Signing runs locally using post-quantum cryptography. Encrypted browser storage protects private identity material while locked. A browser performing signing must still be trusted while the key is in use.
Browser signing is not a claim of dedicated hardware custody, non-extractable keys or independent security certification. Keep the browser and operating system updated and use devices you control.
